The Answers Were There All Along: Using DFPS Policies in Representing Parents and Children

DFPS policy is available on its public-facing website, and as practitioners in child welfare law, we should know how to utilize it. This course will show you where to find DFPS policy, effective ways to search the CPS Handbook, and how to utilize the policy in representing your client, with concrete examples. (While the actual video is an hour and 38 minute, this course is accredited for only 1.00 hours of MCLE by the State Bar of Texas. You can report an additional 30 minutes of self-study.)
